    I had an open fracture of my left ankle in May. It is much better but after a long day, it is swollen. These work great to help reduce swelling. In fact, I bought two so I could swap them out when one gets warm.

    After suffering a severe ankle sprain from running away from a snake and dealing with the pain and swelling, I saw the new offering from thexstance. It looked perfect to help with the swelling that was still going on from me being on my feet for long periods of time at work. I wore this every night for 2 weeks with no problems or issues. On Saturday I noticed that my foot was looking a little weird so I elected to not wear it that night. When I got up Sunday my foot was Turning a reddish color, when I got home from work on Monday it was cherry red. I called a doctor and was put on antibiotics and steroids and told to stay off of it and elevated for 3 days. Things only got worse, went to ER because my foot is purple from where the sock was on me. Now I’m on 4 medication and my off work for 3-4 weeks. This $29.95 sock is going to cost me in $4000-$5000 in lost wages and medical bills. If you get this… beware it could happen to you. I was also told that my foot may NEVER return to normal color and it could look like this for the rest of my life.
